NAB 2025 marked a milestone year for Vizrt — not just in terms of product innovation, strategic partnerships, and industry-shaping panels, but also as we celebrated 20 years of TriCaster transforming the world of video production.
From our groundbreaking extended reality (XR) proof of concept to award-winning solutions and a new partnership with Zoom, Vizrt’s presence on the show floor was all about powering change in the broadcast and media industries. And year on year, it’s a perfect opportunity for us to connect with customers and partners and establish new relationships with key innovators in the sector.
Trailblazing XR with blinx
Perhaps the most talked-about moment at NAB 2025 was our pioneering XR proof of concept in partnership with Dubai-based blinx. In a world-first, Vizrt and blinx showcased a real-time XR integration for TikTok Live, bringing together cutting-edge visual storytelling and live social media engagement like never before. Audiences tuning in got to influence the livestream’s virtual graphics in real time via TikTok’s gifting capabilities, transforming their viewing experience into a dynamic, interactive XR experience.
At NAB, we replicated the technology set up on the show floor, demonstrating how Viz Engine – and its integration with Unreal Engine – powered the entire XR experience. With virtual reality experiences driving a huge proportion of storytelling in traditional broadcast environments, we’re seeing the same audience expectations translate into influencer-led initiatives and content creator livestreams.

This proof of concept has shown how content creators can satisfy these audience demands and achieve greater levels of monetization without the hard sell, instead driving deeply immersive entertainment opportunities for audiences that also boost financial transactions for streamers. More about our work with blinx can be found here.
Future-focused AI
Artificial intelligence continued to take center stage in Vizrt’s product evolution. At NAB 2025, we showcased how AI is not only streamlining workflows but actively transforming the way content is produced in both studio and sports environments.
Demonstrating how our technologies are shaping sports storytelling through live data, virtual graphics and immersive audience engagement, we showcased how powerful analysis tools like Viz Libero continues to be the choice of champions from ESPN, NBA, the NFL and beyond, and how the very latest in intuitive AI-led virtual ad placement is changing the game for sports sponsors. For studio environments, we touched on the latest in terms of Viz Engine’s gesture control capabilities, helping presenters to easily interact with virtual scenes, and TriCaster Vizion’s gaze correction feature, enabling talent to read from separate teleprompters undetected.
Whether it’s enhancing creative agility or scaling live production with fewer resources, guests at the Vizrt booth got to experience how AI-driven solutions are redefining what’s possible in media workflows and sports storytelling.
In the Studio section of the booth, CMO Chris Black walks through what Vizrt does for virtual sets of any size. Across several different virtual scenes, the scale of what can be done with virtual production and XR production is shown – featuring solutions such as Viz Virtual Studio Go, Vizrt PTZ3 Cameras, and Viz Engine 5.

Vizrt and Zoom: A New Era of AV Broadcast
Another major announcement at NAB 2025 was our strategic partnership with Zoom. As part of this collaboration, we unveiled the integration of TriCaster and Zoom, redefining what’s possible for enterprise video communications.
This allows TriCaster users to seamlessly ingest and switch between Zoom participants, turning virtual contributors into broadcast-quality feeds for news, live events, or corporate communications. With Zoom now playing a growing role in professional content creation, this partnership brings Vizrt’s broadcast-grade quality and flexibility into the world of hybrid workflows, creating a powerful new standard for AV broadcast.
As the lines continue to blur between broadcast, virtual, and corporate media, this partnership signals Vizrt’s commitment to bridging every communication gap, no matter the audience or platform. More about our partnership can be found here.

Celebrating 20 Years of TriCaster!
This year’s NAB marked a special occasion for us at Vizrt, as we celebrated 20 years since the initial launch of TriCaster at NAB back in 2005. For the last two decades, TriCaster has disrupted the live production space, with storytellers worldwide using it pushing creative boundaries. At the center of our live production spaces at NAB, guests got hands-on with the powerful, multi award-winning TriCaster Vizion, our flagship TriCaster utilized by leading global broadcasters to drive complex storytelling with ease.
It was also an opportunity to see our fully software-based TriCaster Mini S in action too, along with TriCaster’s seamless integration with the award-winning (and brand new!) Viz Connect Audio.
From small content creators to major broadcasters like FOX Sports Digital, TriCaster has been a constant force in democratizing live video. And with new integrations, smarter workflows, and greater flexibility than ever before, its 20th birthday was more than a celebration. We heard from several key customers over the NAB event who detailed how TriCaster – and the Vizrt ecosystem of products – has transformed their production capabilities.
Our live show floor session with FOX Sports Digital saw Ricardo Perez-Selsky and John Marcus join Vizrt’s Jon Raidel to share how TriCaster Vizion helped power their Super Bowl coverage. Praising its flexibility, the FOX team discussed how they scaled production across everything from weekly studio shows to one of the biggest live events in the world.

Jon also joined a standout panel with Amazon Web Services (AWS), LiveU, and Tupelo Honey, where they explored how cloud-based solutions are reshaping sports storytelling. Detailing how cloud offers greater efficiency, scalability, and quality across every production model, our participants detailed how tools like TriCaster are enabling complex cloud-based productions with ease, delivering actionable insights for the panel audience.
Across every conversation, the theme was clear: Vizrt continues to drive transformation where it matters most – at the intersection of storytelling and technology.
Award Wins That Recognize Innovation
We’re incredibly proud to have taken home three major awards at this year’s NAB 2025. This includes Viz One 8, our most significant upgrade to media asset management in over a decade, winning NAB Product of the Year. With a new containerized architecture, Viz One 8 offers unmatched resilience, flexibility, and ease of deployment for mission-critical workflows.
Our collaboration with the Portland Trail Blazers using Viz Libero and Viz Arena to elevate fan engagement and advertising reach won an NAB Project of the Year. The team saw a 69% year-on-year growth in viewership – an achievement we’re honored to have supported.
The all-new Viz Connect Audio, our connectivity and monitoring tool, won Sound and Video Contractor’s Best of Show Award! It’s an accolade that recognizes the audio technology’s offering of more connectivity, visibility, and control of audio sources on an NDI network than ever before.
Celebrating with Our Community
Of course, NAB wouldn’t be complete without our community. From our pre-NAB customer event to the Vizrt Partner Social Hour, it was a joy to reconnect with our customers, partners, and friends. We’d like to extend a special congratulations to our partners recognized at our Partner Awards celebration, with winners including Broadfield Distributing, who took home our Global Distributor of the Year award. Thank you to all of our partners for being such an integral part of our global success!
